April is National Credit Union Youth Month and Financial Literacy Month. Credit unions take pride in financial education all year, but April provides a special time to focus on teaching youth and young adults the importance of saving and managing money. First Community is proud to take the opportunity to teach the importance of finding ways to save money and also learning how to approach the financial responsibilities that come with adulthood.

To celebrate Youth Month, First Community has created a fun opportunity to encourage learning the basics of banking, to promote outdoor activities, and to also provide the chance to win prizes!

Stop by one of our branches to pick up a checklist/entry sheet and the optional activity sheets. They can also be downloaded here or from our Facebook page.

Complete a minimum of FIVE of the suggested tasks/activities. Each activity must be initialed by a First Community representative using their teller stamp. Once a minimum of five activities are completed, fill out the section at the bottom of the checklist sheet and drop it off at your nearest branch! You can also enter by mail by completing the five provided worksheets and mailing them in with the completed information section of the checklist.

To commemorate our 90th Anniversary this year, our prizes are worth $90! (20) Winners will be chosen randomly to receive a $90 Visa Gift Card provided by First Community.

‘2024 Youth Month and the Search for Savings’ promotion and sweepstakes is valid during April 2024. No purchase necessary. A minimum of five activities must be completed to enter. Membership is not required to participate although the suggested "Banking Activities" do require a First Community membership.
