Prime Partners Herman German Fest*

When: Tuesday, September 24 or Friday, October 4, 2019 (Choose which date works best for you)
Time: 8:15 a.m.-4:45 p.m.
Cost: $60 per person

RSVP Deadline: September 17, 2019
Details: We are going to begin the day by picking up attendees in a motorcoach bus at our Creve Coeur and Lemay Ferry branches. Then we’re off to the Hermann Farm Museum. Once we arrive at the Hermann Farm Museum, we’ll take a trip back in time to see how the first German immigrants lived and farmed after arriving in the Hermann valley in 1837. This includes a tram ride through the 200-acre farm and visiting the Husmann House and outbuildings. Enjoy seeing the chickens, sheep, cattle, mules, Shire draft horses and other animals along the ride.

Next we’ll enjoy a delicious German lunch at the Hermann Wursthaus, consisting of a bratwurst on a bun, kraut, two sides and a beverage. Afterward there are a lot of good meat and specialty foods to sample and purchase here, so you may want to bring a small cooler along.

Our last stop of the day is at the Hermanhoff Winery and includes wine and cheese samples and a tour of their most-interesting cellars. Sit on the patio and sip wines, or visit some of the downtown Hermann shops and the ice cream parlor.

Please note: There is a fair amount of walking on this trip. Trip will go on rain or shine. Cost includes tour guide, all tours, lunch, gratuities, motorcoach transportation.
