Office Administrator

First Community Insurance has an immediate opening for an Office Administrator!

Basic Function:

The Office Administrator serves as one of the initial points of contact for the First Community Insurance team, contributing to relationship development. They provide essential administrative support for the Insurance Advisors and Management and deliver quality member service in person or over the phone.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Deliver prompt, accurate and friendly service to members and clients.
  • Manage incoming calls and handle basic member inquiries.
  • Direct incoming email, mail, fax, and voicemail to the appropriate Insurance Agency team member.
  • Prepare and assist with assigned reports.
  • Support management with tasks such as Accounting and Record Keeping.
  • Handle various administrative duties, including coordinating mailings, ordering supplies, and scheduling meetings.

Electronic Services Representative

There is an immediate opening in our Electronic Services Department for a Call Center Representative. The ideal candidate will enjoy helping people, have great communication skills with both members and co-workers, be proficient in technology across multiple platforms including but not limited to Microsoft Office and Excel, possess strong clerical, analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills and have the capability to learn quickly and work at a fast pace. Duties include answering inbound calls primarily pertaining to debit cards, basic financial transactions, responding to Chat and email, and other various tasks to support the department. 

The hours for this position are Monday - Friday 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., with a day off during the week when a Saturday is worked. Must be flexible to work a rotating schedule.

Lending

There is an immediate opening in the Lending department. Job responsibilities include answering questions, taking loan applications, setting up loan closings and matrix approving loans. ATM Plus Teller

As an ATM Plus Teller you will provide assistance to members from a centralized location at our Corporate East Building through video transmission via the Interactive Teller Machine (ATM+)
Duties and responsibilities include: Offering a positive, professional attitude while communicating effectively through on-screen technology. Engage members and educate them on First Community products and services. Conduct member transactions that can be complex and require sound decision-making skills and approvals.

Position Requirements:

• Must be comfortable appearing on camera and have exceptional communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work seamlessly and efficiently across several different platforms simultaneously.
• Must possess analytical and technical skills to address questions and issues related to electronic services and ensure a smooth and efficient banking experience for our members.
• Through video transmission via the ATM+, process a variety of lobby and drive thru financial transactions including, but not limited to, deposits, payments, transfers, check cashing and withdrawals. Ensures that proper endorsements and identification are obtained and follows credit union policies and procedures.
• Monitor ATM+ to ensure they are working properly, alerting management of any operating issues.
• Must be able to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced virtual environment.
• Good typing skills and a solid history of customer service to include handling escalated, in-depth and detailed conversations.
• Strong work ethic and integrity
• Ability to effectively work and contribute to a positive team environment.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Careful attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Schedule options for this position are:

Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Employee will work a 4-day rotating schedule.

Monday - Friday 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., with a day off during the week when a Saturday is worked.

Mortgage Clerk

We are looking for a Mortgage Clerk at the Chesterfield Corporate Office.

The Mortgage Clerk will be the liaison between our member and the processor answering questions regarding the status of the member’s mortgage file. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to answering incoming calls, assisting members with questions regarding mortgage products and rates, verification of documents such as appraisals, flood verifications, member employment and income. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of our mortgage products and procedures.

Hours for the position are Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and rotating Saturdays 8:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., with a day off during the week when a Saturday is worked. Rotating Monday - Friday 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. schedule when needed.
