Loan Servicing Representative
There is an immediate opening for a Loan Servicing Representative at our corporate office located in Chesterfield. Loan Servicing Representatives service all existing consumer loans and credit cards with the credit union. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and take pride in helping others. Job duties include:
- Assisting members and other employees with Loan Servicing questions via inbound phone calls, live chats, and online tickets.
- Responding to requests for loan payoffs, letter of guarantees, and other requests made to the department via email and fax from insurance companies, car dealerships, and others.
- Providing support to the department in other various tasks including auditing loan documents, processing lien releases and releasing titles, processing title paperwork for refinances, processing inbound mail from other institutions and DMVs, filing GAP and debt protection claims, and posting loan payoff checks.
The options for hours for this position are Monday - Friday 9:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. or Tuesday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m
There is an immediate opening in the Lending department. Job responsibilities include answering questions for our members regarding loan products, taking loan applications, setting up loan closings and matrix/instant approving loans. The ideal candidate will be well organized, have good communication skills, have an upbeat attitude and a strong knowledge of our loan products. The hours for this position are Monday - Friday 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday 8:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m. Or Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m (rotating). If working a Saturday you receive a day off during the week. The other schedule option is Tuesday - Friday 8:00 a.m.- 7:00 p.m.

Part-Time Business Development Officer (Illinois)
A great opportunity is available for a part-time Business Development Officer in our Indirect Lending Department to work in Illinois 20 hours per week for up to $25.00 per hour. The Business Development Officer will be responsible for traveling around to auto dealerships in the Illinois area, building relationships with the finance manager and employees of the dealership to help promote our lending program, and gathering information that can be used to help provide the best loan programs possible. The individual will report to the Assistant Vice President of Compliance. Primary responsibilities will focus on transaction and due diligence monitoring along with currency transaction and suspicious activity report preparation. The position will be concentrated in the area of the Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act, and OFAC regulations. Responsibilities will include data entry, researching problems and/or requests from members, branches, and other departments and review critical information reports to ensure adherence to established compliance procedures. First Community is seeking an Internal Auditor. This individual will be responsible for assisting the audit manager with the audit plan, preparing for specific audits, and drafting reports. The ideal candidate will have 1 – 2 years of audit experience in the financial industry. Must be able to independently evaluate the financial risk and control environment in addition to performing operational and compliance audits. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. A strong knowledge of banking regulations is preferred.
Other responsibilities include:
Compile data and reports needed for completion of specific areas of review in the audit program.
Analyze and report audit findings and recommendations to the Manager of Internal Audit and management.
Examine the financial institutions internal controls to assess risk mitigation and make suggestions for improvement.
Prepare formal reports documenting audit procedures, examinations performed, and audit results.
Prepare written opinions as to the effectiveness of existing systems, policies and procedures, and the efficiency with which activities are performed. Complete all working papers in compliance with professional auditing standards.
Perform the audits in accordance with the Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Audit.
The hours for this position are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
