Electronic Services Call Center Representative 

There is an immediate opening for an Electronic Service Representative. Departmental functions are servicing all aspects of debit cards (questions, disputes, fraud, travel notifications and re-issue). Balancing and servicing a fleet of 60+ ATM’s. Inquiries and processing ACH and direct transactions.

Electronic Services is also responsible for answering phone calls, e-mail and live chat from our members, branches and back office pertaining to Electronic Service inquiries.

The ideal candidate will

  • Know Microsoft Excel as well as the ability to work with multiple computer programs at the same time

Hours are Monday through Friday 9:30 a.m.- 6:00 p.m.

This shift includes working a rotating Saturday 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. with a full day off during that week for compensation.

Branch Operations Full-Time and Part-Time

Lake St. Louis Walmart, O'Fallon Walmart, Eureka Walmart, Festus Walmart, and Belleville, IL Walmart with hours Monday - Friday 8:15 a.m. - 7:30 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 8:45 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Employees work a 4-day work week with a rotating schedule.

Part-Time Business Development Officer (Illinois)

A great opportunity is available for a part-time Business Development Officer in our Indirect Lending Department to work in Illinois 20 hours per week for up to $25.00 per hour. The Business Development Officer will be responsible for traveling around to auto dealerships in the Illinois area, building relationships with the finance manager and employees of the dealership to help promote our lending program, and gathering information that can be used to help provide the best loan programs possible. Loan Servicing Representative

There is an immediate opening for a Loan Servicing Representative at our corporate office located in Chesterfield.  Loan Servicing Representatives service all existing consumer loans and credit cards with the credit union.  The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and take pride in helping others.  Job duties include:

  • Assisting members and other employees with Loan Servicing questions via inbound phone calls, live chats, and online tickets.
  • Responding to requests for loan payoffs, letter of guarantees, and other requests made to the department via email and fax from insurance companies, car dealerships, and others.
  • Providing support to the department in other various tasks including auditing loan documents, processing lien releases and releasing titles, processing title paperwork for refinances, processing inbound mail from other institutions and DMVs, filing GAP and debt protection claims, and posting loan payoff checks.

The hours for this position are Monday – Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. with occasional Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. or Monday-Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. with occasional Saturdays.   A full day off is scheduled during the week when scheduled to work Saturday.  The opportunity for earlier hours will become possible upon future availability.

Mortgage Servicing Clerk

There is an immediate opening in the Mortgage Servicing department. The ideal candidate will have excellent member service skills, be organized and be detail oriented. Job duties include speaking with members and employees pertaining to First Community mortgages, performing transactions in Branch Suite and handling various post close mortgage servicing tasks such as auditing, servicing escrow accounts, creating deed of releases and completing payoff requests.

The hours for this position are Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with occasional Saturday’s 8:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. and occasional late shifts 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Mortgage Processing Clerk

There is an immediate opening in the Mortgage Department for a Mortgage Processing Clerk. The Mortgage Processing Clerk will be the liaison between our member and the processor answering questions regarding the status of the member’s mortgage file. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to answering incoming calls, assisting members with questions regarding mortgage products and rates, verification of documents such as appraisals, flood verifications, member employment and income.

The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of our mortgage products and procedures. Hours are Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and occasional Saturdays as needed from 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. When working a Saturday you receive a full day off during the week.

Internal Auditor

First Community is seeking an Internal Auditor. This individual will be responsible for assisting the audit manager with the audit plan, preparing for specific audits, and drafting reports. The ideal candidate will have 1 – 2 years of audit experience in the financial industry. Must be able to independently evaluate the financial risk and control environment in addition to performing operational and compliance audits. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. A strong knowledge of banking regulations is preferred.
Other responsibilities include:
Compile data and reports needed for completion of specific areas of review in the audit program.
Analyze and report audit findings and recommendations to the Manager of Internal Audit and management.
Examine the financial institutions internal controls to assess risk mitigation and make suggestions for improvement.
Prepare formal reports documenting audit procedures, examinations performed, and audit results.
Prepare written opinions as to the effectiveness of existing systems, policies and procedures, and the efficiency with which activities are performed.
Complete all working papers in compliance with professional auditing standards.
Perform the audits in accordance with the Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Audit.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 -2 years of internal audit experience in a banking or financial services field.
Strong understanding and commitment to professional auditing standards, internal controls, risk assessment, regulations and compliance guidelines.
Superb interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills
Strong writing and presentation skills with a proficiency in Microsoft Office
